Recuperation building belongs to Anhui Bantang hot spring sanatorium (i.e. Provincial cadre sanatorium, provincial Bantang rehabilitation hospital), 

which is subordinate to the Provincial Department of health. It is a comprehensive sanatorium integrating rehabilitation, recuperation, vacation and conference reception.

Anhui Bantang hot spring sanatorium (Provincial cadre sanatorium, provincial Bantang rehabilitation hospital) is subordinate to Hefei Health Bureau. It is a rehabilitation and recuperation institution and a secondary specialized hospital integrating rehabilitation, recuperation, health care and physical examination. Founded in 1953, it was one of the 13 large sanatoriums in China at that time. In 1955, Anhui cadre sanatorium located in Hefei was incorporated into the hospital as a whole.

Anhui Bantang hot spring sanatorium is located in the center of Bantang hot spring resort on the shore of Chaohu Lake. It covers an area of 22 hectares and has 330 beds. It has Bantang hot spring, one of the four high-quality hot springs in China. The environment is beautiful, the air is fresh, the trees are shady and the seasons are like spring; It is a designated recuperation and rehabilitation institution for health objects designated by the health care committee of the provincial Party committee and a designated medical institution for basic medical insurance for urban workers in Chaohu City.

The hospital has strong technical force and complete medical facilities. It adheres to the principle of "medical treatment first and convalescence combined", and takes the development road of "rehabilitation and health care as the feature and hotel service". With geriatrics, rheumatology, neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain and dermatology as key disciplines, the hospital carries out characteristic diagnosis and treatment.
